We’re Alex and Amelia. A couple who worked in the corporate world in Chicago before leaving it all to travel the world.
Our dog passed away (RIP Bobby) and we realized that life is short and we should be doing something that we love, which is travelling. We had saved $100k to buy our first home, but we decided to take that money, sell most of our things and are now traveling the world!
We started our journey in August 2025 with a 2.5 month road trip around the western United States before heading overseas to travel through Africa, the Middle East and are now exploring Asia!
We’re figuring it out as we go, meeting a lot of really great people, learning a ton, and laughing (and some crying) through the chaos of life on the road!
